My current project “Ascent Yoga Series” is a visual transmission of cyclicity and development

In my paintings, I try to convey the revealing aspects of human power, which are often hidden or distorted in society and today have a profound impact on our modern culture, its values and the evolution of society as a whole.

In today’s society, when many believe that the history and inner desire of a person to know himself, to hear this innermost “I” does not matter and is not connected with what is happening in society and on the planet. In the concept of my art, I strive to convey content and awareness of the here and now. Through comprehension of their actions in society and attitude to nature, climate, with which our future is connected.

In my various approaches to creating art, the concept of the work influences the relation of the work to the viewer. My work ranges from conveying the state and experience of an object to the semantic content in general.

Often focusing on the search for a color solution, giving expressiveness to the form, through the composition and plasticity of the body, with the help of the color and color of the picture, I strive to convey meaning and convey information to the viewer.

My current project “Yoga Series” is a visual transmission of cyclicity and development. The philosophy of yoga contains the most ancient teaching on the improvement of the human spirit and develops a person comprehensively – through the body, mind and emotions. The freedom to own your body gives more vitality, harmonizes its energy and nourishes the creative potential of a person.

“Yoga-series” – includes several pictures of “Yoga”. Each image is made in a certain color, which is associated with our human energy centers or chakras. Colors contrast with each other and are in proportion. Human postures are similar to yoga asanas that activate a specific area of the chakra. Each picture is interconnected according to the dynamics of the chakras. In the last picture, all the energies/chakras are gathered together in each person’s body and encased in a sphere like an egg. Likewise, our planet is in its own sphere and each person is interconnected with each other and the planet as a whole, both with their energy and with their actions.

Each painting has its own concept of the transformation of our inner strength, which we can learn to control and properly direct. Seeking color enhances the energy of the image associated with each of the 8 chakras. The figure of a yogi in a certain pose conveys the plasticity and flexibility of the body and is shown in close-up as a spot of color.

The inspiration for my yoga paintings was my youngest daughter, a yoga instructor, she was my model.

Yoga contains a valuable opportunity to raise our human consciousness to a higher level. As a result of working with his body and chakras, a person can take control of his emotions and instincts, transform them and finally get out of their negative influence. By changing our behavior, we can influence our future and relationships in society.

“Yoga Series” includes 4 more “Om” images related to the seasons. The mantra Om is the sounds of the language of the universe. The combination of sounds, resonance and rhythm of the mantra results in an altered state of consciousness that sets the pattern for the flow of thought. The color in the paintings, their combination and contrast interact and convey the feeling of each of the 4 seasons of the year.

The use of material and the magic of color in my paintings are calculated. I often look for ways to do the unexpected, or combinations. I am trying to tune a person so that he turns to his own energy flow and frees himself from the tension that prevents a person from realizing himself.

Art remains a strong contender for how we share our thoughts and ideas. He has the ability to change his thoughts, discover new ideas and borrow the received ideas from ancient knowledge, which reveal to us the true path of the spiritual development of mankind. I have no great illusions that art will revolutionize in the traditional sense, but I have witnessed the powerful changes it can make in a person. Just one new idea can change a person’s perception. The world may not change overnight thanks to art, but it slowly and imperceptibly enters the active part of our brain to tell about it. Provoking the viewer to new and, perhaps, unexplored territories of knowledge.

In the course of research and production, new areas of interest emerge that lead to the following body of work.

At the exhibition, I would like to present another installation, a circus performance, where color, music and body plastics are harmoniously combined at the same time. Rethinking and active participation of art that penetrates our inner and outer world in their interconnection.

I invite you to visit my website where you will see all the pictures from the Yoga series.
