It’s no secret that each of us feels different every day. One day you feel tired and you don’t want to strain, you are in economy mode, and the next day you fly and everything comes easy to you and everything makes you happy. Of course, this all depends on many factors from our emotional, physical, psychological and mental state, which is influenced by the planets and the time of day and the people around us, and the environment.
But what about the artist? Such a person perceives the world more voluminously, and for me personally, the light and color of the surrounding world is still important. A more subtle perception of the beautiful and what an ordinary person will not notice, the artist will appreciate in his own way.
What inspires me?
The first is Nature, it can be landscapes that I observe, the state of the sky, water and of course flowers, and forest. So can animals and birds.
Traveling to new places, new people, faces, and architecture is another source.
My special inspiration is people, especially women, they are graceful and more perfect, forgive me men. But besides external beauty
still inner peace, and strength of character, which is transmitted especially in the eyes, and movement.
So the source for ideas I have is reading books. The book that inspired me for one of the last series of yoga paintings is Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda’s “HIDDEN FORCES HUMAN.” I highly recommend everyone to read it. The system of the world and man in the universe and the powers that he can develop.

I am also inspired by the works of master artists. Something hooked me and it does not mean making a copy, although it is useful to learn from copies.
But for example, how Pablo Picasso was inspired. “When he saw African art, and he realized that’s what you need. He discards everything superfluous and this is an eternal idol, a person is depicted statically, majestically, scary,” the art critic emphasized.
One of his masterpieces “One of the most famous paintings is the Maidens of Avignon, it was terrible, Picasso himself did not want to watch it, but it evokes such feelings, it is disgusting, it is “tin”. But it was his expression of what the 20th century is doing to a person. This is cruelty, this is the pursuit of profit, and this is war. Picasso feels it all.
But if you start working without inspiration, your Muse may come in the process. The main thing is to concentrate and do your job with love. Drink hot tea or coffee and most importantly start.
But I think the most valuable thing for an artist is to create something unique, his own approach, something that does not exist. To look for new forms, expressions, concepts, the content is also important for me and not just the visual sensation and effect.
What is your source of inspiration? Share in the comments I’m interested in your opinion.
